We played well tonight and enjoyed the other bands - Winter North Atlantic and Meursault...This month has been good. Our yet to be released 123 EP received track of the day from Q magazine and airplay on radio 2 and 6...things are looking orange.

Looking forward to a busy June with lots more gigs and hopefully a good supply of donuts.

We have just played a gig tonight and weren't very good...otherwise I wouldn't be here. We will have to make sure we are better at the next ones...dotdotdot...had a few good things happen this March. We were on the ICA Experimental podcast. Steve Lamacq wrote about us kindly inhis blog. We received some stonking remixes by Plush and Plastix and Michael E and we played our first gig in Manchester at a Redbricks night in Chorlton, see attached poster....they do good flyers and gigs...lots to look forward to in the coming months but must remember we are musicians not comedians.

hello...

golly that last post was rubbish and so were the comments.....sorry -we are very busy at the moment recording some new material which is sounding grand..we are not writers, we are musicians - not wanting to state the obvious....

It's been a long time, yes it appears to be and now we are much larger, hairier (is that a word?) and spottier (sure that’s not). However we have not grown older despite what you might have heard, in fact if anything as a collective group we have got younger and shrunk into a pocket size thing. If you have also developed this strange problem please let us know, we would like to hear from you as you may also be a little glitch but alone.

Since the start of 2007 we have been very busy planting seeds on a farm in Devon in the hope that we can get rid of them all. We are yet to see lightning or Billy Ray Cyrus (is he a real person? if not perhaps it would explain why we haven’t). We have also released our first official ep 'Sudden moment of Clarity'. its a concept ep all about the Incredible hulk becoming a lunatic and we think you're going to like it...If not we might give you your money back or a penguin (the real thing, not a copy) We should probably repeat that (coffee break). The ep has also been on the bbc but not itv although we would like it on ITN or GMTV just so people know. PR is PR not RP. A big thank you to Lammo, TR , FP and of course top cat....a very generous fellow. And now it's time to push, push and blow your hoose doon.
come come on he is the greaatest dancer...seems only fair

last night we had another practice...it's late and i can't quite remember what we got upto now...i've have eaten a whole sheperds pie (for four people- but which i made myself!), drank a whole bottle of wine and smoked myself senseless...perfect for writin a nonsensical blog entry - cabbage

Anyway we had a good one...Sttev came down and gave encouragement from the wings. Gav ruffled the feathers and we all searched for our beak. This bird was truely ready to be let loose and it was a fightin cockrel with boxin gloves on... we tried a mixture of old and new jives and the mood was tough...again new tune 123 was bouncin and 'full load on wool' was rumblin, whirlin and yet warm and static....'sleep fightin man' was deep inside the cage, the bird would be released from when the fight began. amen to dire straits and miss piggy.

this will be better next time...

Dismay: Episode 14: Beginnings

The virtual life of little glitches.....
I spoke to a friendly web designer today and he really recommended doing this so here goes...i realise this is probably the 476millionth blog created (or round there) and i do feel slightly unsure about what im doing and whether this is wise and its late and im going on...So the idea is that this is a space where us little glitches will write about what we've been up to, hopefully regularly (proably irregularly)...Us 'little glitches' of which i speak are a four piece band from Sheffield, England whom sound nothing like Arctic Monkeys but none the less are rather good if I dont say so myself (Yes, shameless self promotion but so wot!). We have been labelled the Crosby Stills and Nash of Sheffield but we think we are more like the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band. We are probably somwhere inbetween or not like either...www.myspace.com/littleglitches

We practice in a shoddy old shack in an old industrial part of sheffield and last night as we were playing and the rain started to bucket down outside we realised it was coming thru cracks in the ceiling, as it started dripping on our heads and our instruments. Without a seconds thought we all moved the electric piano, amps and our selves away from the leeks and then realised we were all now playing our instruments sat /stood very closely together with the piano right up against the bass drum (we are based in a very small room anyway). When we started playing again we realised how much more we could hear, see and interact with each other...It sounds cheesey but for the time being this is how we will practice and we all really like it ...we also plan to play live like this with the same set up...anyway enuf borin stuff...that was last night, tonight we started by havin a good old argument and that discussion took up half the practice but then we all felt happier and could look each other in the eye again. we blasted thru some old and new songs and made loads of mistakes but got on with our jobs and enjoyed ourselves baby!! So im gonna publish this post and probably realise i've done it wrong and have to start all over again...i guess i could copy this text just in case but i cant be arsed...bye for now x
